Here’s what we did this week to keep restless kids Here’s what we did this week to keep restless kids happy on the tail end of the school holidays. All free, all outdoors. 🍃 Walked Mobo Creek Crater. No platypus sightings this time, but plenty of fascinating fungi and curious little finds along the way. 🍃 Took the teens to see the chimneys after Mobo Creek. The history didn’t quite land with them, but it was still worth the visit. 🍃 Stand up paddle boarding (again) at Lake Tinaroo. Our skill level hasn’t changed one bit, but enjoyment remains high. Lots of laughs. 🍃 Plenty of rainforest walks to spot wildlife and burn off excess energy. Although most wildlife can hear them coming a mile away. 🍃 And on the wetter days, we’ve been leaning hard on undercover playgrounds. Yunbaburra, Milla Millaa, and Tolga, have some of our favourite covered playgrounds. #whatsontablelands #athertontablelands #exploretnq #tnq #fnq

Saturday was a wander up Main St in Atherton, a peek inside a lovely new local shop, and Carols by Candlelight. Sunday was the Tolga markets and later a visit to Tinaburra for the enclosed playground.
