The Torpedo Bay walking track winds through open f The Torpedo Bay walking track winds through open forest before climbing to a series of lookout points overlooking Lake Tinaroo, the dam wall, and the surrounding ranges. It’s a steep, rough walk in places, but the panoramic views are a rewarding payoff – photos don’t do it justice!

Main Street Atherton has welcomed a few new faces Main Street Atherton has welcomed a few new faces lately 👋

We popped into three recently opened businesses to take a look around:

🍦 Happy Hills Ice Creamery
🎲 Jester’s Junkyard
🇿🇦 Savannas South African Goods

We may be a little biased because we love board games, biltong, and ice cream, but it was great to see these new businesses settling into town. The owners were all incredibly friendly and passionate about what they’re doing.

If you’re in Atherton, consider dropping in, saying hello, and supporting a local business. Every new shop adds something different to our community, and we’d love to see them thrive!
