A little snapshot of our weekend on the Tablelands A little snapshot of our weekend on the Tablelands 📸 Friday started with a rainforest walk around Lake Eacham and ended with dinner at Mr Belson in cosy Yungaburra. Saturday was a wander up Main St in Atherton, a peek inside a lovely new local shop, and Carols by Candlelight. Sunday was the Tolga markets and later a visit to Tinaburra for the enclosed playground. Plenty to see, plenty to do, and plenty to appreciate. #whatsontablelands #athertontablelands #exploretnq #tnq #fnq

We were invited to try their new share table for our Friday night dinner and it was a beautiful experience with soft lighting, a relaxed atmosphere, great service, and delicious plates. We chose the slow roasted Persian lamb shank, garlic butter prawns, charred broccolini, and lemon and garlic roasted kipflers. Christmas cocktails on the side made it even better. Safe to say we’ll be back for round two 🙌

If you’re curious about bats and the conservation and advocacy work happening on the Tablelands, this is a visit you’ll appreciate!
